THE STORY

In the heart of Spain's rural Y2K, 16-year-old Alma is dealing with the agony of adolescent desire with her eyes fixed on José, the village heartthrob. The setting: a capea where young men show their courage while the village girls yearn for the gaze of their potential suitors. Despite her efforts, no one seems to notice her but an enigmatic cow whose actions are pretty weird, blurring the lines between reality and the magical.
